Job Corps is a no-cost education and vocational training program. We are lucky to have the Westover Job Corps in Chicopee. Additionally, there other Job Corps training centers located in Massachusetts and New England. The Job Corps program supports low-income young people ages 16-24 by giving them the opportunity to learn marketable skills that will make for successful careers. The U.S. Department of Labor supports the program.

Job Corps program services include:

• Education and training in a wide range of careers – trades, medical, technology, manufacturing, driving/transportation, hospitality, culinary arts.
• Work-based learning.
• Free housing, food, medical/dental, and a clothing stipend.

This residential program takes from 9 – 24 months to complete depending on your interests.
