MassHire Springfield Career Center attracted 97 people to our Targeted Job Fair on Wednesday, August 17th. There were 13 organizations recruiting at the event which ran from 1:00-3:00. The career center surveyed our job seeker members asking what positions and companies would be attractive to them. Our business services team used that information to invite organizations to the event.
Our goal was to facilitate quick job matches of talent to businesses in need of skilled workers. Interviewing and job offers were made on the spot during the fair.
